Normally you only see about 50% of the surface of the moon as its tidally locked to earth. But at times you can see roughly 10% extra due to its Libration or wobble.

But a scope like mine can only resolve objects as small as about 1-2km, even the most powerful telescopes ever made (including hubble etc) could only pick out details as small as maybe 3-500m.

Although NASA are launching their Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter around June iirc and it will be able to resolve things as small as half a meter. They will find all sorts of things with that which is exciting.

hmm 1-2km you could probably capture the image of the "alien tower" thats been debated so many times, thats cool of nasa but hey.. theyre the ones who are always airbrushing shit out.
