i'd go with the yate-loon 120mm fans because they are cheap as shit and give barely any db's for the airflow

quoted for the mother fucking truth.

best fans i have ever owned, i bought like 9 of them for 15 bucks, dirt fucking cheap.

i currently have 4 of them in my PC running at 7v so they're absolutely silent pretty much. the other like 5 are just in other various PC's and shit.

but i also have this fan.

absolute opposite of the yate loon. basically this thing makes my computer fall over when its on full blast. i even have it on a light dimmer switch to turn down the speed (and noise) or even turn it off. most of the time its off because its ridiculously loud compared to the yates.

17.5cm, 230 CFM, 3600 RPM, 54 DBA which means its loud as FUCK

Not if you're using ip35-pro with faneq with aux fans that regulate fan speed and only turn it on high while on load aka ingame.

i guess i never had my patriot fan running full voltage (i thought the yellow wire was 12v?), but it never made any noise. 170mm, $5 at the local flea market.

now i just have the 120 and 80mm fans that came with my centurion 5 case, so far its enough and its quiet.

trust me, you've never heard a quiet computer until you heard mine, the fans are so quiet even if you shove your ear right next to em you can barely hear the air moving by your ear.

now your computer compared to most other cutom built computers might be pretty quiet, but theres no way an undervolted delta can compete with an undervolted yate loon.

-Faceless i have that same fan, just a slightly newer version, great fans i must say.

While I don't really care how quite my pc is, I am dropping air all together and going water my next build.

yea, water + high powered fans = kick ass cooling.

i would suggest a black ice radiator with some panaflo's, you'll get some kick ass temps. just with my build it was built with being able to sleep with it on right next to me so i had to sacrifice some performance for it.

OSHI-

http://nexfan03.stores.yahoo.net/silent-120mm-fan-d12sl-12.html

"For every two fans purchased, we'll include 3rd one free! We'll add free fans manually after we receive your order. Purchase 2 fans and receive 3, purchase 4 fans and receive 6, etc. etc."

EDIT: Over at Jabtech the fans are 50 cents cheaper and you have a choice of open screw holes or closed. I do think the other deal is better though.
